Since 1952, the Augustana Alumni Association has given awards to alumni who exemplify the ideals of Augustana College. Alumni Achievement Awards are presented each year to Augustana graduates who have made outstanding contributions to their fields of endeavor, their communities, and/or their churches. The recipients reflect the values of the College: Christian Faith, Liberal Arts, Excellence, Community, Service.

The awards occur during the Blue and Gold Gala, 6pm October 18 at the Sioux Falls Holiday Inn City Center. In addition to Gregerson, other Alumni Achievement Recipients include Jeff Fylling, Linda Ballard Hofstad, Jackie Pederson-Kriens and Evan Nolte.
